Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Specialist. In this role, the successful candidate coordinates the patient care training programs and research endeavors for a specialty area of Physical Therapy practice or program within the Physical Therapy department. Assists in the oversight of daily operations of the unit as needed. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: NYS Physical Therapy license with valid current registration. Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. Five (5) years as a licensed Physical Therapist with progressive responsibilities and development in a specific clinical area. Good communication and interpersonal skills. BLS certification Issued by the American Heart Association AHA OR Heartsaver CPR/AED certification Issued by the American Heart Association AHA is required upon entry to the position. Required Licenses: Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist License-NYS, Occupational Therapist License-NYS Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Physical Therapy or a related field teaching experience. Greater than 5 years clinical experience. Demonstrated leadership qualities. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $125,400.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
