Job Title: Director of Strategic Technology Partnerships

Location: Remote/Hybrid (as applicable)

Department: Revenue Operations

Reports to: Vice President, Partner Strategy & Programs

The Director of Strategic Technology Partnerships at Genesys will be responsible for building and managing the strategic alliance between Genesys and Salesforce. This role will involve working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive joint initiatives, designing and enabling Go-to-Market strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and orchestrating the Rhythm of the Business between Genesys and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both Genesys and Salesforce product ecosystems and be skilled in strategic relationship management, technical partnership alignment, and collaborative sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

Alliance Strategy and Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary liaison between Genesys and Salesforce, fostering a collaborative relationship to maximize the value of the partnership.
  • Develop and execute a strategic alliance plans that align with the goals and objectives of both companies.
  • Engage with Salesforce's partner ecosystem to build relationships, leverage resources, and promote Genesys solutions within the Salesforce platform.

Joint Go-To-Market Initiatives:
  • Work with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, finance) to develop and implement joint go-to-market programs and campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for joint sales engagements, including strategic accounts, industry segments, and geographical markets.
  • Oversee co-marketing initiatives and events, ensuring cohesive messaging and brand alignment.

Product Integration Optimization:
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify and prioritize integration opportunities that deliver value to shared customers.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and provide feedback to both Genesys and Salesforce product teams on roadmap alignment.
  • Assist in creating compelling use cases, demos, and technical documentation for joint solutions.

Sales Enablement and Training:
  • Educate and enable Genesys sales teams on Salesforce integration capabilities, use cases, and sales processes.
  • Partner with Salesforce's sales teams to promote Genesys solutions, ensuring alignment on value propositions and messaging.
  • Support sales teams in joint sales pursuits, offering strategic guidance and managing co-selling opportunities.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:
  • Establish and track key performance metrics for the Salesforce alliance, including revenue growth, pipeline generation, and customer adoption.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Salesforce and Genesys leadership to assess partnership health and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and insights on partnership outcomes and the success of joint initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic alliances, partnerships, or business development, preferably within the technology or SaaS sector.
  • In-depth understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce platform capabilities, AppExchange, and industry-specific solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, high-impact partnerships with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating across organizational boundaries and influencing without direct authority.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Salesforce products or the contact center industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM and CX solutions, particularly as they relate to Salesforce and Genesys integration.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$147,000.00 - $273,000.00
