Title and Summary Manager, Total Rewards Systems Overview The Total Rewards Team delivers world class programs that position our company as an employer of choice. Our global team designs and delivers consumer focused compensation, benefits and mobility programs for our employees, and leads all human resources M&A activities. This position will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation, optimization, and alignment of all Total Rewards Systems within Mastercard. Role: • Oversee the day-to-day system administration of Total Rewards platforms • Leverage coding skills (e.g. Java, Groovy, Python) to customize and optimize system functionalities and develop scripts or automation tools as needed. • Assess existing Total Rewards systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Total Rewards systems with other HR and business applications as needed. • Manage the technical and systematic execution of annual compensation reviews, benchmarking, salary structure adjustments, year-end reviews, and other major compensation activities • Responsible for ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system integrity in Total Rewards systems • Work closely with Compensation Design and Total Rewards Partners to understand compensation needs and translate into specifications and requirements that can be implemented in Total Rewards systems • Responsible for ensuring Total Rewards systems are compliant with internal and external compliance initiatives (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley) • Develop and utilize data analytics in our Total Rewards systems to derive insights and inform decision-making related to our compensation programs • Ensure operational excellence by creating and maintaining documented processes, measuring the service levels provided to employees and managers, and implementing continuous improvement efforts as appropriate by streamlining processes and implementing efficiency enhancements • Manage relationships with external vendors, support with contract negotiation and execution, and oversee service delivery • Interface with Global Business Services Center (GBSC) as necessary to ensure inquiries and escalations from managers and employees are addressed • Liaise with payroll team and finance to ensure smooth execution of compensation programs/processes All About You • Expertise in Java, Groovy and other relevant languages • Experienced in HRIS, Financial Systems, or other related roles o Experience with PeopleFluent a plus • Technical Expertise in Power Query/BI, Excel, and other data analysis functions • Track record of working cross-functionally and collaboratively at all levels, including working remotely with cross-functional teams and able to guide decision making. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
