New Jersey Resources is seeking a Sr. Corporate Insurance and Risk Analyst to administer risk management plans, including procurement of all corporate insurance policies and management of the surety bond program. Assists in managing the Enterprise Risk Management and risk reporting programs. Regularly evaluate and suggest improvements for programs and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Major Responsibilities: • Procures all lines of insurance such as liability, casualty, property, cyber, crime, fiduciary, workers' comp, and Directors and Officers by completing applications and interview processes to accurately reflect respective business needs. • Manages the Surety bond program for NJR. • Recommends enhancements to corporate insurance program when appropriate. • Collects and analyzes data required for insurance applications and renewals. • Collaborates with insurance brokers to facilitate the annual insurance renewal process for all corporate policies. • Addresses and resolves insurance related issues and inquiries from various departments within the company. • Reviews vendor insurance contract language exceptions and helps to negotiate terms as needed. • Provides Certificates of Insurance to outside vendors as needed. • Manages insurance claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution. • Maintains accurate records of insurance policies, claims and related documentation. • Supports the development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk management mitigation strategies, frameworks, models and Key Risk Indicators. • Maintains and updates ERM documentation and reporting tools. Assists with independent risk reporting efforts as needed. • Work cross functionally with team to support all areas of finance as needed. *The major responsibilities of this role are reflective of the current duties and requirements of this position but are not all inclusive and are expected to evolve over time based on the needs of the business and availability of individual development opportunities. Position Specifications: • Bachelors degree required, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting. • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance, risk management or a related area. • Familiarity with surety bonds, insurance policies and claims management. • Understanding of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and practices preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Detail-oriented with strong organization and project management abilities. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
