Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications Program Management.

NYULH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications Program Management to support the Transplant, Gastroenterology, Surgery, Hassenfeld Childrens Hospital, Obstetrics and Gynecology service lines.

Reporting to the Director, Relationship Lead of these service lines, this position will play a vital role in collaborating between the Communications, Marketing, Government and Community Affairs (CMGCA) department and the respective service line department chairs to achieve strategic objectives and growth targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Program Management:
  • Lead the day-to-day management of 360-degree marketing and communications campaigns, as part of the community of practice model
  • Enhance current campaigns, and evaluate outcomes, report on outcomes to clinical leadership, and make strategic adjustments to optimize outcomes as needed
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the business goals and objectives of the clinical service areas of coverage; participate in the strategic planning process and critical department meetings
  • Identify and assess new opportunities for CMGCA-enabled service line growth, bringing recommendations to the Relationship Lead for discussion

Stakeholder Relationship Management:
  • Act as a key day-to-day partner to service line department heads, assisting in execution of marketing and communications strategies
  • Play a vital role in triaging and executing requests from department heads, partnering with teams in Brand, Experience, Creative, & Design COE, Content Strategy & Development COE, Media Relations COE, Program Measurement & Business Operations Platform, and Enterprise Communications COE as needed

Collaboration:
  • Collaborate across teams in Brand, Experience, Creative, & Design COE, Content Strategy & Development COE, Media Relations COE, Program Measurement & Business Operations Platform, and Enterprise Communications COE to ensure campaigns have incorporated all perspectives, are in alignment with strategic objectives, and will maximize return on investment
  • Collaborate with the Program Measurement and Business Operations COE to establish measurement strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs); integrate these metrics into decision-making processes to maximize return on investment
  • Collaborate with physicians, researchers, and marketing experts to identify growth opportunities and position content effectively
  • Educate stakeholders about CMGCAs offerings and how they can support clinical leaders

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare or hospital operations
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
  • Adept at building rapport and exhibiting strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in building and maintaining relationships
  • Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to influence, teach, inspire, motivate, and collaborate effectively
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to learn and apply data-driven insights
  • Proficiency in project management, communication tools, and data analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Transplant, Gastroenterology, Surgery, Hassenfeld Children's Hospital, and/or Obstetrics and Gynecology clinical services

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $122,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
