Job Details

- WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - THE ROLE - You'll be primarily accountable for communication to Production Team, Installation Scheduling Team, and new Install team regarding new installer onboarding. All proposed onboarding schedules will be in written form, and will be provided to and approved by to be approved by Director or Production, and or Senior Production Manager, including work activities of installation subcontractors, training timeline, additional resources required, etc. - Ensure that all newly onboarded installers have all necessary tools, equipment, and knowledge of technology and defined processes to expertly perform all functions of the job of lead installer. - Prepare agendas for, and conduct various continuing training education classes for all installation teams - both new and existing: Including but not limited to Certified Master Installer Training, Quarterly Installer Meetings, etc. - Perform in-progress installation assessments, and post installation assessments for products or installations which fail to meet established standards. Prescribe work and materials necessary to correct product or installation deficiencies. - Work with current installation teams who are failing to meet certain benchmarks to document their improvement, including but not limited to Net Promoter Score (NPS), Installation Go Backs (IGB), and First Time Completion (FTC). - Utilize installation product guides and Technical Information manuals to ensure standards are being continuously met. - Proactively recognize situations that could impact customer expectations, job costs and/or required residential building codes. Creates documented solutions when forecasted issues arise. - Submit structural issues to engineering for design and approval. Follow up with Production Manager as needed to ensure timely turnaround of plans. - Be dependable and punctual with appointments, documentation, and commitments. - Serve as key job site contact for installation teams. Provide additional support to all other teams as needed. - Document any necessary homeowner or installation follow up appointments through defined technology methods to resolve installation and or customer discrepancies before, during or after the construction process. - Other job duties as assigned. WHAT YOU BRING - THE PERSON - Excellent team relations, empathetic & personable skills. - Strong carpentry skills. - Exceptional communication skills of listening and speaking for handling customer and teammate conflicts. - Knowledgeable and diplomatic approach address tasks at hand. - Must be able to organize, prioritize, and execute. - Ability to adapt well and accept feedback in a changing environment. - Must be comfortable in a labor-intensive environment. - Ability to work independently - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. - 5-7 years of in field construction and or general contracting experience, with strong preference given to experience in residential construction. - 3-5 years of experience in roles requiring acute attention to detail preferred. - Valid driver's license in good standing and current automobile insurance required.
