Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Rehab-Downtown FW Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 8 Summary: This Physical Therapist will provide therapy to patients admitted to the hospital. Services will focus on functional skills to enhance development, restore function, and prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness, and injury. Duties include providing evaluation, treatment, and home programming to children with burns and wounds, orthopedic injuries, brain injuries and neurological impairments, hematology and oncology disorders, musculoskeletal injuries or disorders, neuromuscular disorders, gross motor delays, and cardiopulmonary disorders. Will also provide evaluations for wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices and provide patient and caregiver education and consultation to other medical professionals, clinics, and agencies, both within Cook Children's Health Care System and the community. Pay Rate: $51.50/hour Flexible hours available: Employees can work 4, 8, or 10-hour shifts with the ability to work up to 30 hours per week depending on available caseloads. Must also work one weekend day per month and one summer and winter holiday. Qualifications:
