The Prince George's County Park Police Division, of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), is seeking applications for a Background and Recruitment Administrator. This role encompasses a wide range of analytical responsibilities within the Park Police Division, focusing on various functional areas at the proficient level. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, human resources (HR) management, training, financial management (budgeting, accounting, financial analysis), purchasing and contracting, management and/or program analysis, and Planning Board support. The specific area(s) of assignment may vary, with the incumbent selecting and applying guidelines to conduct, coordinate, monitor, and review business transactions. They identify the need for updated standards, procedures, or programs, drafting guidelines, operational manuals, and reports accordingly. Additionally, they provide analysis on administrative management matters, ensuring programmatic compliance and effectiveness. Examples of Important Duties
