As a Chemist I here at the Honeywell, Bryan, Texas facility, you will employ your expertise of chemistry fundamentals and critical thinking in a clean room environment, while adhering to safe working practice/protocols to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our internal and external customers. You will work under direct/indirect supervision and provide expert input to a highly driven team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality targets/goals are met. You will conduct analyses on advanced instrumentation (ICP-MS, IC, LPC, UV-Vis) to certify quality specifications are met. You will be a part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of our projects and programs.
In this second-shift role, you will contribute to the overall success of our plant, projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform chemistry tests using Wet Lab techniques
  • Run chemical analyses using advanced instrumentation
  • Aid in the development of manufacturing procedures as needed
  • Develop and validate quality control test methodologies using Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
  • Provide technical expertise in analytical chemistry and instrument operation and maintenance-troubleshoot and maintain equipment as necessary
  • Provide high-quality and timely analysis while adhering to all HSE protocols
  • Escalation of critical, time-sensitive information
  • Generate continuous improvement ideas

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science degree
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment
WE VALUE
  • Experience in a clean room laboratory
  • Works under minimal supervision
  • ICP-OES, ICP-MS, IC, LPC, UV-Vis experience
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry
  • Environmental laboratory testing
  • Data Management/LIMS experience
  • SOP revision and generation experience
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
