Overview

At Mastercard, the People Insights Team play a crucial role in shaping our talent strategy and enhancing employee experience through data-driven insights. The People Insights Consultant role is a newly created role in our Consulting Team within the Global People Insights Team, operating across multiple Regions & time zones.

The ideal candidate will have experience of providing actionable insights and compelling narratives for an Executive audience, and have experience of partnership with HR Leadership at a global and matrixed organization. This role requires a deep understanding of people analytics, data visualization, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and impactful narratives.

Role

- Analysis and Insights: Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the employee lifecycle as well as other key HR areas such as employee listening, talent and performance, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, etc.
- Storytelling: Develop and deliver compelling data-driven stories that effectively communicate insights to senior executives (eg C-Suite).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively collaborates with HR Leaders to provide thought leadership for analysis projects; keeps stakeholders informed of progress and timelines.
- Cross functional collaboration: Works across technical and consulting teams to execute on analytics roadmap; converts inputs from stakeholders into creative, scalable solutions .
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging themes in the people analytics domain, identifying opportunities to introduce external perspectives, enhance product offerings and maximize impact.
- Data Integrity & Governance: Demonstrates exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data including partnering with Data Privacy & Governance teams to obtain appropriate data governance approvals

All About You

Essential:
- Outcome driven; with experience providing innovative advanced analytical solutions that have lasting impact in multiple dimensions; strategic, operational and financial.
- Understanding of the HR functional domain; either through hands on experience or external research.
- Experience of relationship building and managing a group of either internal or external clients.
- Proven practical experience in developing insights and narratives for an Executive level audience.
- Flexible and responsible; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including adapting where required to changes in business priorities.
- End-to-end problem-solving and communication abilities: diagnosis, data cleaning, integration and transformation, analysis, visualization, and presentation.
- Ability to collaborate with peers and cross functional teams, working across multiple time zones.
- Openness to feedback and strong self-awareness.
- Ability to work within the confines of data governance and privacy standards.

Salary range:
$144,000-230,000

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
