The Head of Strategic Programs will oversee the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) and guide the scoping, evaluation, and execution of strategic projects. This role is essential in ensuring that MissionSquare's strategic initiatives are effectively managed and aligned with the organization's goals.

Essential Functions for this role include:
  • Program Management: Manage the Enterprise Program Management Office, ensuring that all strategic projects are scoped, evaluated, and executed effectively to meet organizational objectives.
  • Strategic Initiative Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that align with MissionSquare's long-term goals.
  • Project Oversight: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring timely and successful completion of projects while adhering to budget and resource constraints.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics to track the progress and success of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management on performance and outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to promote alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to assess market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth, informing strategic decision-making.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with strategic projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the EPMO, encouraging innovative approaches to project management and strategic execution.

If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:
  • Experience: Proven experience in program management, strategic planning, or related roles, preferably within the financial services sector. 15+ years of experience preferred.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field is typically expected. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
