Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice and guidance to team members on strategic planning and execution for Fannie Mae or business units within the organization. In this role, you will coordinate team activities in support of cross-functional strategic execution, as well as engage project teams and stakeholders to advance business initiatives.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

You will work with business partners to address emerging strategic challenges and opportunities. As a member of the Multifamily Strategy and Impact team, you will assist in preparing communications and presentation for the Board and Fannie Mae Senior Leadership.

The Multifamily Strategy Advisor (Flexible Hybrid) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Lead team members in activities that support the strategic goals and vision for business units and/or the enterprise.
  • Lead team members in activities related to strategy development, strategic plan formulation, and execution of business objectives.
  • Collaborate with management to identify resources to support strategic goals and new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with your team and internal partners on unit's production, activities, and efforts.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences.
  • 6 years.

Skills
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.

Tools
  • Experience using SharePoint
  • Skilled in Tableau
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Experience using JIRA

Desired Experiences
  • Master's of Business Administration and Management Consulting experience
  • Management Consulting experience
