POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the EVP and Chief Sales Officer , the VP Global Alliance & Partner Sales will lead an organization responsible for managing the global relationship s with select partners who have distributed operations in many or all regions. This team will be measured by the pipeline generation and bookings performance of these partners at a global level , across all sales motions and routes to channel. R egional sales resources will be responsible for regional or sub-regional targets related to these partners and their subsidiaries.

This is a new position as we continue to scale and grow the Genesys business . W e are seeking a leader with demonstrated success in developing and managing global relationships in a high growth SaaS environment and who has prior experience of operating as part of a global sales leadership team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and deliver global pipeline generation and bookings targets with Global Partners .

  • Develop and maintain relevant, trusted executive-level relationships .

  • Develop , l ead and motivate a key team of globally dispersed resources .

  • Define and execute global partner go-to-market programs, and campaigns .

  • Drive loyalty by ensuring partners realize value while building and growing a Genesys practice .

  • Ensure partners are fully enabled at global and regional levels and deliver on our customer experience expectations .

  • Effectively align regional Genesys sales teams and leaders for local execution of global initiatives .

  • Track and report key success metrics for Global Partners .

  • Quickly take stock of the business as it stands today, developing a thorough understanding of Genesys' solutions, its technologies, its customers, their use of those technologies, and the way in which solutions are currently sold and supported.

  • Participate and contribute as a full member of the Global Sales Leadership executive team.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Demonstrable ability and track record of bringing passion , energy and motivation to a business.

  • Exceptional communication skills, able to win commitment and buy-in to a common vision and clearly stated goals.

  • Ideally, experience of having worked successfully in a private equity backed company.

  • Proven experience o f being able to succeed in a global and matrixed organization, with the ability to balance stakeholder expectations and ensure team and organizational goals are achieved.

  • Proven track record of relationship building and development at the highest levels within partner and client organizations.

  • Track record of driving revenue in a sophisticated, solutions environment with a proven , quantifiable record of aggressively growing sales and exceeding goals.

  • Track record of building high performing, collaborative teams and of hiring, motivating and retaining top sales talent.

Compensation:
Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $232,100.00 - $431,100.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location
