Primary Purpose

The Employee Experience Coordinator works within the Employee Experience team to help optimize and improve the employee experience, helping to create a more meaningful and satisfying work experience. The Employee Experience Coordinator will support various employee focused programs, provide operational and administrative support, and be responsible for other ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed. The position plays a critical role in supporting Parkland's employees and will be relied upon to exemplify qualities to include serving as a valuable resource within the department by being knowledgeable, responsive, and approachable.

Minimum Specifications

Pay Rate $26/hr.

Education
  • Must have associate degree (Human Resources, Marketing/Advertising, Communication Sturdies, Psychology, or related discipline) or equivalent work experience.

Experience
  • 1 year experience within Human Resources/Administration or related role preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience is preferred (Direct involvement in planning and coordinating employee engagement initiatives.

Skills or Special Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and demands, accompanied with strong follow up skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Possesses a high degree of initiative; resourceful in searching for information/answers.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a discrete and professional manner.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Experience within a project driven environment
  • Strong ability in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and technology
  • Occasionally required to work after regular work hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide excellent customer service by addressing and/or triaging employee engagement inquiries.
  2. Provide administrative support for employee engagement programs, events, and activities to include but not limited to, collateral creation, meeting coordination, reporting, and employee data management.
  3. Research trends/creative ideas in addition to assisting in planning and preparing for special events.
  4. Utilize software to build and administer surveys.
  5. Provide support for the various award and recognition programs and practices by maintaining platforms, sourcing, and ordering awards, and assist in developing content and best practices (Celebrate Us, Years of Service Recognition, DFWHC annual event, etc.).
  6. Manage the creation and posting of communications through various mediums and platforms including, but not limited to, SharePoint, Intranet, forms, and flyers.
  7. Assist with development and management of relevant communication strategies and activities that contribute to raising awareness and generating buy-in to the organization's employee engagement agenda.
  8. Manage and organize department files and shared server content, ensure that current versions of department documents and employee communications are up to date and accurate; archive and organize previous versions (Share point, shared drives).
  9. Support the administration of our engagement survey including, supervisor access, reporting, tools, and resources.
  10. Assist with confidential and critical administrative projects; designs and prepares reports, summaries, and presentations for the Director and department.
  11. Assist with oversight of employee engagement taskforce committees and occasionally serve as department representative on committees and in meetings as requested.
  12. Identify ways to improve work processes and improve customer, internal and/or external, satisfaction. Makes recommendations to leader, implements and monitors results as appropriate in support of overall goals of the department and PHHS.
  13. Perform general clerical duties that include creating and updating templates, copying, printing, scanning, etc.
  14. Provide budget support through the tracking of expenses, PO management, and processing invoices.
  15. Assist with other duties as required and requested.

  1. Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of the department and Parkland.
  2. Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices.
  3. Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact the area. Develops effective internal controls designed to promote adherence with applicable laws, accreditation agency requirements, and federal, state, and private health plans. Seeks advice and guidance as needed to ensure proper understanding.
