Primary Purpose Repairs, reconditions and upholsters a variety of Hospital furniture ensuring activities meet the needs of customers. Education: Must have completed two years training in upholstery techniques Experience: Three years upholstery experience. Equivalent Education and/or Experience: May have an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above. Certification/Registration/Licensure: None Skills or Special Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate skill in all phases of upholstery work. Must be able to match fabrics making independent judgments on needed improvements. Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing. Must be able to perform mathematical computations. Must be physically able to lift heavy loads, walk, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
