As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the Gulfstream EPIC Integrated Avionics systems and solutions. You will work on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries. Your expertise in systems engineering and technical guidance will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.

You will report directly to our Engineer Director for Gulfstream Systems and you'll work out of our Savannah, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of advanced systems and solutions, ensuring they align with Honeywell's quality standards and industry best practices. This role will have direct communication with our Gulfstream customer, providing integration support and issue investigation. You will work directly with our systems team located in Phoenix on the resolution of issues reported by our Gulfstream customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network components
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of complex engineering projects
  • Providing integration support of development build sent to Gulfstream and support as the system is tested by Gulfstream
  • Provide technical guidance in identifying and resolving system issues
  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements and contribute to the optimization of operations

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and project guidance
  • Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
