You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Glendale, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

This position is within Space Engineering and will be located in Glendale, AZ. The position is within the team developing the Carbon Dioxide Removal by Ionic Liquid System (CDRILS), a life support system for space and terrestrial applications, and other technologies that make it possible to live and breathe. This role will 1) be primarily customer facing and collaborative for all aspects (design, build and test) of a CDRILS qualification unit and 2) contribute technically to Honeywell's Environmental Controls and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) product line. The successful candidate will work closely with a large cross-functional and cross-site team (including program management, advanced technology, engineering, and business development) as well as with customer design teams. A significant amount of travel can be expected in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical point of contact between Honeywell and customer design team
  • Understand impact and implementation of complex system requirements in CDRILS qualification unit for customer application
  • Be highly knowledgeable in both Honeywell and competitor ECLSS technologies for future road mapping

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 5+ years of relative experience with 2+ years in Space ECLSS Engineering
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual and export control requirements
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time with some international customer on-site support
  • Ability to maintain adjusted working schedule for interactions across multiple time zones
