You will lead and manage a group of the world's most talented engineers who provide and develop expertise to facilitate the success of software engineering products. Key Responsibilities Manage a team of Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and meeting delivery goals Collaborate with other department heads to define project priorities and resource allocation Provide leadership in adopting and implementing software engineering best practices Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and coordinate resolution efforts Mentor and develop team members, conducting performance reviews and fostering career growth YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics 7+ years of experience in full stack software development 3+ years of demonstrated proficiency with front-end technologies including React, Typescript, HTML, CSS 3+ years of experience with back-end technologies including Node.js and Mongo DB Led software project team for at least 3 significant project releases WE VALUE Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members Solid understanding of software development best practices, Agile methodologies, design patterns, and architecture principles Experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. Knowledge of other database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
