Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity As a Senior Program Controls Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for managing and directing the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You will report directly to our Program Controls guide, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our projects by ensuring effective program controls and providing insights and recommendations to optimize project performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Guide the program controls function for projects and programs • Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies • Monitor and control project costs and budgets • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues • Analyze project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success • Ensure compliance with Honeywell policies, project management standards and best practices US CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. YOU MUST HAVE • Minimum of 6 years of experience in program controls, project management, or related roles • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies • Experience with project planning and scheduling tools • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills WE VALUE • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field • Master's degree in engineering, Business, or related field • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Experience in a global organization • Experience in managing projects in a matrix organization • Strong negotiation and influencing skills • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment ABOUT HONEYWELL Honeywell International Inc.
