Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer (Rotating Equipment) As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer (Rotating Equipment) here at Honeywell, you will utilize your expertise in mechanical design and engineering principles to develop innovative solutions for our customers. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing rotating equipment, such as pumps, compressors, and turbines, to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Collaborating with a team of engineers, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge products and driving technological advancements in the field of rotating equipment. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Des Plaines, IL location on a hybrid work schedule, except for the first 90 days. In this role, you will have a significant impact on Honeywell by designing and developing high-performance rotating equipment that meets customer requirements and industry standards. Your expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and testing will contribute to the success of our products and the satisfaction of our customers. The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $108,600 -$120,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • Experience with rotating equipment design for industrial applications. • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to rotating equipment. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
