Job Description Time Type: Full time Role Details: Time Type: Full Time Starting Pay: $17 / HR Job Location: 710 FM 306, New Braunfels, TX 78130 Job Summary: The Millwork Assembly Crew will assemble millwork products including doors and molding. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Follows detailed instructions to construct and build both stock and special order doors, including millwork trim for customers. Gathers and arranges necessary parts for products together in specified relationship to each other as instructed. Bolts, clips, screws, rivets, compounds, trims, saws, or otherwise fastens required parts together. Works on an assembly line where tasks and job duties may vary as different product lines are produced. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Attends team meetings and company training sessions as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow directions and work well in a team. Thorough understanding of, or ability to quickly learn production equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of, and ability to abide by, applicable OSHA and environmental regulations. The ability to adjust the controls of a machine or vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions. Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or week as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs. Education/Experience A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. General carpentry and millwork knowledge preferred. Successful completion of on-the-job training. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping. Visual acuity is needed to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect products produced. The ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times, occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds, and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
