Description
Duties As an Iron Worker, you will performs the following work as associated with the iron working trade: Install handrails and metal stanchions, structural steel and aluminum catwalks, security barriers, monorail and trolley tracks, metal fences and associated hardware, including locking devices, hinges, and gates. Repair turnstiles and rolling overhead door pin locks, metal fences; hand trucks. Repair ink dollies, handrails, security barriers, ornamental iron work, rolling overhead door structural members. Fabricate steel frames used to support vault doors, steel supports used to hold electric control panels and security devices and cameras. Requirements Conditions of Employment A one-year probationary period may be required. Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required. Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
