Michaels is looking for an Instructional Design Intern who is ready to apply their ID course-work to a real-world experience! The intern will assist the talent development department with a wide-range of responsibilities during our program. This internship will appeal to proactive and self-motivated students with a genuine desire to learn about the real estate business and industry. During the internship, you will work on real projects and have real responsibilities. Michaels aims to help candidates build strengths, gain skills that can be transferred to any workplace, and stand out from the crowd!

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM for a total of 35 hours • Based out of our Camden, NJ headquarters

Highlights of the internship include:

• Working alongside other interns/co-ops and recent college graduates • Learning from our more experienced team members and best-in-class leaders in the real estate accounting community • Participating in company-wide and departmental meeting and events and a variety of social, professional and networking opportunities. • Applying accounting theory from college course-work to real-world transactions at a leading provider of real estate in Camden, NJ
Responsibilities
The Instructional Design Intern develops training content to ensure that end-users are successfully trained. The Instructional Design Intern may partner with a team to plan, design, develop, test, and deploy the training content across multiple lines of business and ensures that adult learning principles are effectively applied and that project standards are maintained.

• Partner with internal business process owners to design and develop training solutions• Design training solutions to include instructor-led presentations (face-to-face and virtual), online courses, self-study sessions, job aids, and other collateral• Participate in content review, revision, and sign-off cycles • Develop/edit graphics, illustrations, audio, videos, etc. for instructor-led presentations, online courses, mobile learning, self-study sessions, job aids, and other collateral• Ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

Qualifications
• Must be a college junior, senior or graduate student pursing a degree in Instructional Design, Training & Organizational Development or related subject• Experience developing content for blended training programs • Experience developing e-learning with using mainstream authoring/design tools (i.e. Articulate Storyline, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
