Summary \u003Cp\u003EThis position is located in the Regional Offices, Region Four, Mitigation Division, Floodplain Management and Insurance Branch. The ideal candidate for this position has experience in floodplain management and the NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program); ordinance compliance, community planning, permitting, ordinance writing, as well as providing technical assistance to communities.\u003C/p\u003E Duties \u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat will I do in this position if hired? \u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn this position, you will meet with federal, state, tribal, and local officials to promote the virtues of mitigation through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
