Responsibilities:
- Implements governance, process and procedures, and control documents to ensure continuous improvement.
- Executes initiatives and business improvements by analyzing business requirements to understand the business needs and to determine what solution(s) can best fulfill those needs.
- Performs current state assessments against target state to identify people, process, technology, and information gaps.
- Presents and translates the system design to business sponsors and department heads to ensure the system design will meet the customers' requirements.
- Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and manages requirements for the requirements management process.
- Designs test plans and scripts for system updates. Executes UAT against test plans and scripts.
- Facilitates groups of business and technical resources to gather requirements and create functional design documents outlining people, processes, and system changes.
- Supports the execution of project change management in partnership with the project team and the business.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Experience:
- Experience in contributing to the management of projects is preferred
- 4+ years' experience as a Supervisor, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst is preferred
- 3+ years' experience preferably in restaurant industry
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Visio (as applicable)
- Proficiency in Human Capital Management Systems a plus
- Knowledge of project governance, project management, and translating technical issues and solutions to non-technical partners
- Ability to communicate well with the general public and experience in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to work in a team environment
Working Conditions/Travel Requirements:
- Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
- Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needs
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule and work outside of normal business hours when necessary
- Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary.
