Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Housing Desk Attendant.

The Housing Desk Attendant is responsible for providing residents and guests with friendly and outstanding customer service through daily interactions; serves as the primary contact for residents and guests for any issues that may arise in the residence building

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides information to residents and guests by responding inquiries regarding the building apartment repairs and other services that may be required
  • Greets residents and visitors as they enter and exit the building
  • Assists residents and visitors entering and exiting the building as necessary
  • Answers the telephone responds to inquiries and requests from residents and guests
  • Registers guests and obtains information and signatures as guests check in to the building
  • Conveys information to residents and guests by receiving and transmitting messages mail facsimiles packages dry cleaning and other
  • Maintains records of front desk while providing all residents and guests with outstanding customer service
  • Assists with the enforcement of non smoking regulations
  • Maintains appropriate decorum and courteous manner at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency and 6 months relevant experience
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Requires excellent organizational and verbal communication skills
  • Requires ability to multi task operate basic office equipment and maintain records

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work well with others
  • Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,137.66 - $58,137.66 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
