Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Logistics Analyst-Supply Chain. In this role, the successful candidate reporting to the Manager Logistics SCM the Logistics Analyst role is responsible for supporting a variety of transportation related functions e g courier services small parcel international transport hazardous materials third party mailing and shipping solutions etc. Areas of responsibility include but not limited to End User training and support maintaining and managing key performance indicators documentation management etc. The Analyst will collaborate with End Users to ensure proper training access to services and cost management. The ideal candidate is a self motivated high energy and hands on leader with excellent problem solving skills and comfortable navigating a complex matrix organization with multiple stakeholders Job Responsibilities: 1 Customer Service and Patient Care nbsp; Primary responsibility to support Enterprise with management of logistics and transportation needs thereby allowing End User to focus on their Mission e g Patient Care Research Education etc 2 Responsible to maintain End User training documentation and process adherence 3 Coordinates weekly bi weekly and/or monthly calls with critical Vendors and End Users to review service cost invoicing trends etc nbsp; 4 Maintain and/or establish critical KPIs 5 Data analytics financial monitoring and reporting Leverages analytics and data insights to identify trends and seeks to minimize waste 6 Partners with Supply Chain counterparts e g Sourcing Procurement Supply Chain IT etc 7 Establish strong working relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders nbsp; Seeks to understand and mutually define goals objectives and establishes frequent forums for process review nbsp; 8 Create/maintain training and documentation as required 9 Actively engaged in Team Building employee engagement cross functional training etc nbsp; Actively seeks to understand various job functions and Enterprise co dependencies nbsp; nbsp; 10 Trained and certified on IATA Dangerous Goods Compliance Additional Position Specific Responsibilities: Preferred Qualifications: Experience with supplier/End User relations and supply chain History of creating and maintaining KPIs Demonstrates cross functional collaboration and accountability with Internal and stakeholders Experience working in fast paced environments and has a proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs Experience in courier small parcel UPS FDX USPS and/or logistics or hospital industry Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor s degree 2 years of relevant work experience Strong experience and expertise in Excel analytics and continuous improvement/lean management Has a high level of accountability inquisitive in nature detail oriented and able to work both independently and within a team on multiple projects simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Experienced creating documentation and establishing policies and procedures Will have strong presentation and communication skills with a focus on attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor s degree 2 years of relevant work experience Strong experience and expertise in Excel analytics and continuous improvement/lean management Has a high level of accountability inquisitive in nature detail oriented and able to work both independently and within a team on multiple projects simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Experienced creating documentation and establishing policies and procedures Will have strong presentation and communication skills with a focus on attention to detail Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $90,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
