Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst Sr FA will report to the Sr Finance Manager of Research Admin POD 4. The Sr FA is responsible for the monitoring and review of all financial activities and grants management oversight as related to their Principal Investigator. Portfolios This includes but is not limited to sponsored projects management preparation and distribution of financial portfolios for investigators effort review and verification budget and subcontract preparation and set up and preparation and closeout of sponsored projects/grants. The Sr FA will also be responsible for monthly reporting and ad hoc projects. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in business finance or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant financial and/or grants management experience or a combination of comparable education and experience Preferred Qualifications: The Senior Financial Analyst will have a comprehensive understanding of research administration with In depth knowledge of Uniform Guidance and other research regulatory requirements specifically the Uniform Administrative Requirements Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards Experience with PeopleSoft preferred Strong communications skills both written and verbal Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $85,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
