This NPI Manager role within the Engines Gold Business Enterprise (GBE) team will support various commercial and defense product lines leading projects focused on optimizing the portfolio by maximizing use of product technology, voice of customer, aftermarket business models, R&O repair/manufacturing engineering capabilities and sourcing strategies. You will support various product line PACs (Product Action Council) through cross-functional collaboration and execute daily commercial operations, aligned to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with minimal supervision and oversight. This role contributes to our overall Honeywell performance, growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction for key engine platform roadmaps.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Offering Manager to oversee our New Product Introductions (NPI) initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the successful launch of new products and features, from concept to market delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading NPI programs, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in product management, with a focus on leading NPI initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve results.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and growth through NPI initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


NPI Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive NPI strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. Define the vision, goals, and priorities for NPI initiatives and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive NPI initiatives forward. Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for product expansion or innovation through NPI initiatives.

Product Roadmap Development: Lead the development of product roadmaps for NPI initiatives, outlining key milestones, features, and enhancements to be delivered over time. Prioritize initiatives based on market trends, customer needs, and business priorities.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers. Serve as the primary point of contact for NPI-related matters and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for NPI initiatives, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.

Innovation and Future Planning: Drive innovation within the NPI process by identifying new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and customer needs. Work closely with R&D and innovation teams to develop and test new product concepts.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 7 years of expertise in managing a portfolio of products, projects, and investments.
  • Proven track record in portfolio performance management and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management.
