The Application Engineer will develop solutions, designs, and equipment configurations that ensure accurate handling and throughput rates in both new and modified material handling systems. The Application Engineer, in addition to assigned projects, will participate in Application Review meetings where the material handling designs of others in the team are reviewed and approved. The Application Engineer will take ownership of design correctness and the capability of the system to meet or exceed all requirements. The Applications Engineer will take a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, and overall system to meet internal and external customer expectations throughout the project design life cycle. Responsibilities: - Design conveyor systems utilizing Honeywell products as well as integrated products and technologies such as robotics. - Use mechanical material handling engineering experience for a mix of system development and improvement - Utilize your engineering capabilities to support design projects for a variety of markets - Calculate throughput rates of the designed system - Be recognized as a SME with advanced knowledge of product application and specifications - Assist in identification of system design risks and mitigation strategies - Assist in writing of system descriptions of operation - Support Sales in presenting solutions to potential customers #LI #Conveyors YOU MUST HAVE
