Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Analyst. In this role, the successful candidate as the Financial Planning Analyst will work closely with a small core Financial Planning team to assist in the development of the health systems annual budget and long range financial plan. The Analyst will primarily work to 1. maintain complex financial models used in the forecasting process and 2. gather internal and external data to prepare analyses such as financial comparisons to other academic medical centers. The Analyst will also assist in a variety of ad hoc CFO projects and be involved in the preparation of executive level deliverables. A successful candidate will have a foundational knowledge of financial reporting and U S GAAP and be able to think nimbly on their feet. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor Degree in Business Accounting Finance or related field with 1-3 years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Superior communication skills both written and verbal Possess strong customer service and problem solving skill sets Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $79,500.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
