Description
The Stamp Operator operates and monitors an automated cigarette tax-stamping machine. Maintaining a sense of urgency, accuracy, and quality of work within engineered labor standards to ensure accurate product and shipments is a must. Start time: 4 am, until orders are filled Schedule: M-F, weekends off The ability to be flexible with your schedule is preferred. Some schedule flexibility is preferred. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Feed cigarette cartons through an automated machine that stamps, repacks, and returns them to a conveyor. Identify product and appropriate tax stamps. Monitor the line and stamp machine to ensure smooth operation. Report any cigarette package or carton damages. Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: At least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED preferred Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
