Description
The Checker/Loader III operates power equipment to load products into trailers for delivery. They check cases and totes for stability and orderliness and verify cigarette counts. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday. 1:30pm-10:00pm. Some schedule flexibility is preferred. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Scan and load products, checking load sheets to verify product counts. Place/stage product in correct compartments. Ensure that product "walls" are stable to prevent injury to people and products. Confirm that trailer condition and temperature are within guidelines. Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: At least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
