Basic Function and Responsibilities The Adult Education Project Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the expansion of Adult Education services, including English as a Second Language (ESL) programs, by enhancing the capacity of our current team. Working in partnership with the Adult Education management and leadership team, this position involves contributing to site identification and management, faculty hiring, and grant management, along with implementing and managing projects. The ideal candidate will have robust project management skills, a thorough understanding of adult education, and the ability to foster effective collaboration across teams. Physical Demands: Light lifting to 10 lbs. and light carrying up to 10 lbs. Ability to reach above the shoulder. Periods spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and stooping. Mobility to move between campuses and local district sites. Work is performed in a general office environment and is sedentary. Little or no exposure to adverse working conditions. Additional Information: Supervision Received Functional supervision is received from the Senior Manager of Adult Education. Supervision Exercised None HOURS: Monday - Thursday - 8:30 am - 3:00 pm (25 hours per week) Hours may vary around registration periods with occasional evening hours. SALARY: $27.76 Based on the needs of the college and with Administrator approval, some positions at the college may have a hybrid schedule option available after 30 working days.
