Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading building envelope solution supplier that effectively drives energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are seeking a CDL Driver for our Dixon, CA Plant.

We are seeking a CDL Driver who is responsible for the safe driving and delivery of customer materials within a 200-mile radius from the assigned facility. Duties include, but are not limited to, driving the company truck to deliver orders to customers, the loading and unloading of materials, and duties assigned in the facility. This position may also assist in the warehouse when not driving.

Hourly: $33.78

This is an early start time with an estimated time of 4 am.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive and operate Class A tractor with 53' dry van and flatbed trailers.
Deliver orders/materials/products to customers, both internal and external, while following DOT and internal safety rules using the company truck.
Load and unload of company truck and securing loads.
Maneuver heavy materials with the use of a forklift, pallet jack, and/or hand truck.
Assist in the warehouse as needed.
Comply with company and DOT policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
Complete pre-trip inspections, know how to maintain a legal and accurate logbook, retain fuel and toll receipts, maintain cleanliness of truck cab, document and log work/rest periods, and complete post-trip inspections.
Check gauges and visual indicators for malfunctions, ensure locks on trailers are working properly, and conduct inspection of vehicle before and during trips to determine problems that may be occurring and promptly report all problems to supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Class A - minimum of 12 months verifiable experience working in a full-time tractor/trailer driving position in the previous three (3) years or two (2) years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last five (5) years.
Class B - minimum of 12 months verifiable experience working in a full-time Class B tractor driving position in the previous three (3) years or two (2) years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last five (5) years.
A mixture of Class A and Class B experience may be considered.
Must be at least 23 years old of age.
