Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Distribution Brand Representative to join our team in our South Texas (Houston and Austin) market.

Job Summary:

As Distribution Brand Representative, you are responsible for maximizing sales opportunities within your Distribution Distribution territory. The candidate will drive Distribution Branded product opportunities by establishing and maintaining rapport with current and new Distribution decision makers who make and influence buying decisions. The position will also be responsible for generating business by obtaining and developing new pro customers as well as servicing the Distribution Branded Branded Coatings product line in stores. This position will be based out of the candidate's home with frequent vehicle travel throughout their territory. Candidates who are hired will receive training on Coatings products.Responsible for approximately 30 shared Distribution stores in an assigned territory:

Territory for this position includes but is not limited to Houston and Austin .
Frequent Travel is required between account sites, visiting 4 to 6 stores on weekdays and on occasion one store on Saturdays.
Company car and detailed training on Coatings products provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Selling to contractors in the branch, demonstrations in the field and on rooftop jobsites. Working with Distribution inside and outside sales to prospect and close contractor sales.
Helping consumers with roofing projects.
Training store associates on Branded Coatings products, hands-on use and seasonal projects
Securing and building endcaps, bulkstacks and wingstacks to promote seasonal products.
Working with Distribution Merchandise Execution Team (MET) to ensure product is set to plan-o-gram; literature, headers and price tags are installed and current
Building relationships with key decision makers and making sales presentations to (department manager, assistant manager, store manager, district manager, regional merchant).
Cross merchandising products throughout branch.
Helping and selling directly to the consumer and building brand equity.
Setting up product demonstrations in branch.
Educate and promote products to consumers, including hands-on Saturday demonstrations and explaining the benefits of project completion and use of premium products

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

At least 2 years of previous sales, retail, account management or service orientated experience is required.
Flexible availability in work scheduling. Regular work schedule is Monday - Friday, but opportunities and/or weather may arise that change schedule to Tuesday-Saturday. (Saturday demos during peak season).
Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
Successful candidate will maintain a home office for administrative work, and will spend significant time within the various Distribution stores in the Houston and Austin areas as well as site visits with customers that typically involve exposure to sun and other various outdoor weather conditions.
Working in a fast-paced environment with a moderate to loud noise level.
Frequent moving, carrying and lifting objects in excess of 50 pounds.
On-site visits with customers, including walking rooftops.
Regular travel throughout the Houston and Austin , and occasional trips outside of the area for conferences, sales meetings, training, and other work.
Fluency in Spanish a plus
Roofing Distribution/Big Box store experience a plus
Roofing experience a plus
Single Ply Roofing experience a plus

Education:
