As an Innovation Finance Intern, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial tools and strategies that drive both revolutionary and evolutionary changes within our newly established Innovation Finance department. This internship will focus on the development of a sophisticated capital expenditure (CapEx) tool designed to enhance portfolio-level analysis concerning return profiles, risk assessments, and investment mix.

Responsibilities:
  • CapEx Tool Development: Assist in building and refining a CapEx analysis tool to evaluate the financial performance, risks, and returns of various investment portfolios.
  • Data Analysis and Financial Modeling: Conduct detailed financial analysis and create models to support decision-making processes regarding portfolio management and innovation investments.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the finance and innovation teams to gather input and align the tool's functionality with strategic goals. Prepare and present analytical reports to senior management.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends in finance and technology to propose enhancements to our financial tools and practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the department's strategic planning and execution.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with Excel and other financial analysis software is highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
