With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a diverse book of medium-to-large commercial accounts, with a primary focus on real estate, handling 10-20 accounts averaging $25,000 in revenue, and growing accounts to $1MM+.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, expertise, and superior customer service to ensure high business retention.
- Collaborate with producers on new and renewal business, providing technical advice, handling coverage issues, and conducting exposure analysis.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of policies, coverages, forms, accounting methods, ratings, and claims procedures to effectively support client needs.
- Utilize the Applied (EPIC) agency system for efficient account management and maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Communicate effectively with underwriters and insureds, leveraging strong written and verbal skills to negotiate and resolve issues.
- Stay current with industry trends, maintain a California insurance license, and pursue professional designations such as CIC, CISR, CPCU, ARM, or CRM.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial lines account management, specializing in mid-to-large commercial accounts, with a focus on real estate accounts preferred.
- Strong knowledge of policies, coverages, forms, accounting methods, ratings, and claims procedures, coupled with excellent rapport-building skills with underwriters and insureds.
- Proficiency in Applied (EPIC) agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with proven organizational and analytical skills.
- California insurance license required; professional designations such as CIC, CISR, CPCU, ARM, or CRM are strongly preferred.

Salary range is $120K to 150K per year.
