Alera Group is hiring a Benefit Technology Analyst to join our team! This is a remote opportunity.

This position requires a deadline-driven professional with strong communication skills, computer savvy, and experience in HRIS technology, such as Employee Navigator and Ease. Benefits administration and/or experience with a benefits brokerage firm preferred. This position must be self-disciplined enough to work without direct supervision, detail-oriented, great with time management, able to handle a fast-paced work environment, and enjoy working as a member of a team. Comfortable with face-to-face meetings, presentations, and demos to clients. RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
- Position manages the day-to-day tasks required for building, launching, administering, and maintaining a client Benefits Administration technology platform, such as Employee Navigator and Ease. S/he develops and maintains best practices related to delivering a client friendly experience based upon the Alera way, which will include kick-off meetings, checklists, client-facing tools and templates.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project management of all new benefit platform implementations & renewals
- Promote good Client/Broker Relationship throughout implementations by setting clear expectations, communicating regularly, etc.
- Manage all implementation documents including timeline
- Ensure all plans are built correctly, including executing testing and quality control procedures.
- Submit all file requests and manage follow-up with files submitted to vendor to build
- Demonstrate system/platform for prospects and clients
- Collect all necessary new implementation documentation and file documentation
- Communicate all file costs and any extra costs involved that were not previously communicated clearly and in a timely manner
- Enter data into computer systems, generate reports, archive electronic information appropriately, and other similar activities
- Oversee the work of other implementation coordinators assigned to the implementation
- Attend all administrative trainings for staff and external stakeholders as needed
- Attend and facilitate all implementation and/or renewal calls
- Attend all team calls and meetings
- Contribute to strategic processes and procedures of the team
- Manage all issues quickly and professionally
- Report all escalated issues to Team Lead and the Director of Benefit Support Services
- Manage handoff process from implementation/renewal to ongoing service teams
- Accountable for successful implementations & renewals
- Complete job-related training courses/seminars as needed
- Provide reporting updates to internal teams or management
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience with HRIS/ben admin software. Employee Navigator required. Ease preferred
- High School diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant topic preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in HR, IT, benefits, or other applicable area
- Superior written and verbal communication skills coupled with great interpersonal and EQ skills
- Organized, creative, responsive problem-solver who thinks through all the possible outcomes before moving forward
- Solid knowledge of and experience with employee benefits and administration of Group benefit plans highly preferred
- Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service coupled with extreme attention to details and strong math skills
- Successfully prioritizes multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines
- Works well independently with minimal direction and also collaborates well on teams
- Superior computer savvy and good facility with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
