Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Communications professional to support and enhance the external communications for our CEO and other executives. This role will work closely with the CEO to craft high-level messaging, shape public-facing communications and prepare for speaking opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and storytelling skills, as well as a deep understanding of corporate communications at the executive level.
  • CEO Communication Support: Partner with the executive communications team to define and execute the CEO's external communications strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, mission, and priorities.
  • -Executive writing: Write remarks, talking points, op-eds, and presentations for the CEO, ensuring a consistent and compelling voice across all platforms.
  • Public Appearances & Events: Support the CEO's participation in external events, including conferences, panels, and interviews, by developing content, coaching on messaging, and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Strategic Thought Leadership: Identify opportunities for the CEO and other executives to contribute thought leadership content, including blogs, bylines, and industry commentary. Ensure content reflects the company's position on key issues and advances its strategic goals.
  • Reputation Management: Monitor and assess public perceptions of the CEO and the company, providing guidance on how to navigate issues or opportunities in the public sphere.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications team, Marketing, and executive leadership teams to ensure a cohesive, unified message across all channels.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in executive communications, public relations, or corporate communications, with a proven track record of supporting C-suite executives, preferably a CEO. Previous experience in journalism preferred.
  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Strong ability to write clear, engaging, and persuasive content in the CEO's voice across various media.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to understand complex business and industry issues and distill them into clear, impactful messages that resonate with a variety of audiences.
  • Highly Organized: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders
  • Discretion & Integrity: Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
