Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Production Supervisor (Afternoon Shift) in our Scarborough, Ontario facility.

Job Summary:

This job will be responsible for all aspects of afternoon shift's performance, maintaining a safe and clean work environment by promoting 5S principles and adhering to safety guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with established safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and manage the performance of all hourly employees in the afternoon shift.
  • Establish work assignments to meet production schedules using knowledge of team member skills and machine capabilities.
  • Responsible for training and development and providing all afternoon shift employees with the tools, information and materials necessary to perform assigned tasks.
  • Responsible and accountable for ensuring the afternoon shift employes meets its production and quality goals with on time shipments, and within budget.
  • Responsible for conducting root cause analysis and quickly resolve problems by implementing appropriate corrective actions and preventing reoccurrence.
  • Responsible for conducting and managing the full development requirements and conduct performance check-ins to enhance productivity.
  • Train, Coach, Counsel and document all forms of disciplines for employees as required.
  • Act in accordance with company policies and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong building/manufacturing construction background, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including a high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups.
  • Strong people management skills
  • Open availability/flexibility to work overtime as needed, including extended shifts and/or weekends.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent discipline/experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven development of high-performing teams
