Carlisle Construction Materials, a division of Carlisle Companies Incorporated has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to join our growing team in Senatobia, MS. As a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor you will be responsible for supervisory leadership to employees in the receiving, material, and shipping areas.
Some of the duties you will be responsible for will include, but not be limited to:
- Spend the majority of working hours on the warehouse floor.
- Outline expectations, monitor workload, reallocate resources, and/or request additional resources to maintain a balance between capacity and workload.
- Resolve problems and lead improvement initiatives.
- Personnel supervision & development
- Assist with warehouse space, root cause analysis on abnormal issues, interdepartmental communication, cost savings, and warehouse problem-solving.
- Monitor performance metrics, follow-up on day-to-day issues, standard work, cross-training, job rotation, FIFO, and vehicle maintenance.
- Timekeeping, overtime, & vacation administration
- Cycle count administration
- Idea system support & oversight
- Assist with annual physical inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to read and comprehend a variety of written forms and materials
- Communication: Verbal, written, and typed; correct spelling and grammar
- Hazmat, safety, & environmental regulations
- Carlisle policies & procedures
- Software: SAP, Outlook, Excel, and computer knowledge
- Math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, percentages
- Knowledge of Carlisle products
- Knowledge of material handling and storage methods
- Knowledge of inventory tracking and control methods
Equipment/Data:
- Equipment: computer/tablet, keyboard, mouse, scanner, calculator, copier/printer
- Data used: SAP reports, spreadsheets, shipping documentation.
- Interaction with others: Customer Service Representatives, Production Supervisors, Production Team Leaders and crews, MRP Controllers, Shipping/Receiving personnel.
