Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Summer 2025 Intern to support our Architectural and Construction processes in our Dallas/Ft Worth, TX market.

Job Summary:

This internship opportunity is for students working to obtain a degree or certification in a program with a focus on Architecture, AutoCAD, Drafting Technology, or other relevant majors. This role will provide unique exposure to the architectural and construction process, focusing on details intended for construction documents and field application instructions. Key areas of work will support and increase comprehension of waterproofing and air barriers.

Roles and responsibilities may qualify for Design or Construction Related Employment under the NCARB program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create 2-dimensional and isometric drawings in AutoCAD.
Prepare architectural details and installation instructions with mentorship and detailed instructions.
Modify drawings with specific instructions and feedback.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Basic knowledge of architectural building systems
Able to work efficiently in AutoCAD
- Draw wall sections and isometric details to scale
- Interpret sketches and recreate content in AutoCAD
- Set up paper space tabs and scale drawings to fit viewports
Ability to work independently and with a team
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Working Conditions:

Remote with the ability to meet in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on a weekly basis.
