This position is a business partner responsible for managing a food truck in a specific market to include partnerships with local and corporate marketing teams, third parties, and with Operations for executing events and driving sales potential. This position will be responsible for executing the food truck program strategies for marketing and sales goals in their market. This position will be responsible for managing events, schedules, permits, Operations teams working on the truck, and the budget specific to their food truck.

Responsibilities:
  • Executes the Food Truck quarterly and annual plan adhering to the detailed and summary plans and sharing across their region of planned activities, target audience, and the objectives and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Contributes to the evolution and refinement of the Food Truck operations plan and execution strategies based upon hands-on learning and team input.
  • Manages of budgets, planning, and scheduling activity.
  • Drives change and innovation within their Food Truck region - from event types, menu offerings. and staffing.
  • Works cross-functionally to ensure events are well executed and adhere to overall brand standards in communication and quality.
  • Owns the relationship with third-party partners to ensure we deliver on brand high quality events efficiently and consistently.
  • Manages end-to-end tour and events, to include strategic planning, scheduling, field marketing partnerships, Operations partnerships, event management partnerships, unit partnerships, and results ownership.
  • Takes responsibility for the results from individual event performance through to quarterly results. Suggests recommendations on how to improve placement and execution of events and tours.
  • Presents and shares event/tour performance across the business and with our partners showing the value that events/tours drive, including recommendations on future quarterly activities.
  • Responsibilities include driving the food truck throughout the Whataburger footprint based on event schedules, keeping a maintenance log to ensure fully functioning equipment and truck repairs, and maintaining a professional appearance of the truck during customer facing activities to showcase the brand at the highest standards.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.


Education :
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience required


Experience:
  • 5+ years Operations or Marketing experience
  • 5+ years' experience preferably in restaurant industry


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong analytical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate decisions
  • Ability to work in a team environment


Working Conditions/Travel Requirements:
  • Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
  • Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needs
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule and work outside of normal business hours when necessary
  • Must be able to travel occasionally both locally and long distances (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locationsMust possess a valid driver's license, submit to releasing a Motor Vehicle Record that adheres to the Whataburger standards and maintain current automobile liability at minimum levels in their state of residence
