Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor-Food Nutrition Services. In this role, the successful candidate Assists in the management and execution of superior quality patient food and nutrition meal services Manages and develops staff including Diet Aides Tray Assemblers and Food Service Helpers Acts as ambassador for food and nutrition services to patients staff and the multidisciplinary team and performs service recoveries for satisfactory outcomes Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Food Service Management Hospitality Management Hotel / Restaurant Management or a related field A minimum of four 4 years of progressive operations experience in the food service industry at the managerial level in a high volume setting Additional management experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection Certification required within 6 months of hire. Required Licenses: ServSafe Certification Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $70,553.60 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
