You'll be responsible for:
Education Program
Implement the homeowner-focused HomeWORKS Education Program, including determining which classes to offer based on homeowner needs and feedback, designing targeted outreach strategies to engage homeowners, and ensuring that educational offerings are accessible, relevant, and effectively promoted to maximize attendance and participation.
Partner with Habitat's Homeownership Program Manager to collaboratively track and manage the internal facing arm of Habitat's education program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and homebuyer needs.
Develop an annual schedule for classes, ensuring that there is a diverse array of offerings throughout the year that meet the varying needs and availability of homeowners. Manage the logistics of each class, including location, virtual platforms, instructors, and materials.
Develop and maintain partnerships with organizations and individuals specializing in education topics relevant to homeowner support
Develop and implement new and creative ways of educating and providing information to owners outside a classroom. This may include helpful videos, emails, virtual classes, etc.
Recruit and vet highly skilled educators and develop a method of tracking educator performance. Provide effective feedback to educators to adapt curriculum and teaching style for future classes.
Regularly evaluate and improve the quality of educational offerings through data analysis, educator feedback, and best practices in adult learning. Proactively identify opportunities for program enhancement and implement changes based on feedback and performance metrics.
Regular monitor data entry and metrics for the HomeWORKS Education Program to ensure good data hygiene practices

Support Habitat Homeowners
Provide support and resources to Habitat homeowners and Habitat homeowner's associations.
Filter and identify partnership opportunities for Habitat homeowners to engage in cross departmental activities including advocacy work, storytelling opportunities and partnerships with various committees including Habitat's Ambassador Council and Homeowner Leadership Council
Work collaboratively with the construction department in the transition of knowledge of community systems during the shift from developer control to HOA management. Provide due diligence information on community wide systems (alarm systems, water sub-meter systems, irrigation systems, etc.) and transferable warranties.

Department Support & Collaboration
Supervise the Homeownership Support Coordinator
Work alongside the Community Development Manager to implement activities and events to support community engagement in Habitat neighborhoods across the region.
Create and sustain strong working partnerships with other members of the team and contribute to Habitat's culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, you'll:
Four years of experience working with people with low/moderate incomes from diverse backgrounds in a social service setting
Previous supervisory experience and strong leadership skills
Experience with program development, implementation, and analysis
Experience working with English language learners utilizing professional interpreters to effectively convey important information
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complicated themes in a way that is approachable and consistent to diverse audiences
Strengths based approach to see and recognize the resiliency and capability of Habitat homeowners
Ability to work in a collaborative environment, as part of a team as well as independently. Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills and the ability to think strategically.
Excel at multi-tasking with various projects and deadlines; attention to detail necessary.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, databases, and ability to learn as needs of the job and available technology evolves
Able to work nights and weekends, as necessary.

Any combination of formal education, paid work experience, unpaid/volunteer experience, and life experience will be considered.
To be considered above and beyond the average candidate in this role, you'll also:
Bachelor's degree
Skilled and/or professionally trained in adult education with teaching and curriculum design experience
Verbal fluency in Vietnamese, Arabic, Burmese, Spanish, Russian, or Amharic.
Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRMs (Customer Relationship Management)

Your Compensation:
We aim to offer equitable pay and benefits and are committed to transparency in compensation. Basing compensation on a candidate's willingness and/or ability to negotiate leads to inequities and bias in how employees are compensated.

We determine the best possible compensation offer based on base qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, and the candidate's competencies for the role demonstrated during the hiring process. Successful candidates are typically hired within the first half of the Pay Range and receive scheduled incremental increases. When starting in this position, your compensation will generally be between $58,650 to $71,459 annually. The full range for this position is $58,650 to $85,043 annually
