About Commercial Our Commercial organization leads our global sales and marketing strategies around the world. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Working in close partnership with Business Unit (BU) Marketing leaders, Medical Affairs, Sales, Human Resources, Compliance/Legal and other Learning & Development leaders, the Senior Director, Global Commercial Learning & Development will develop and lead the implementation of an aligned global commercial learning strategy to drive value to customers and enhance knowledge, skills, and capabilities of our global commercial teams. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Insights & Commercial Excellence, this role will have a high degree of visibility across commercial leadership, regional partners, and Medical Affairs. Fostering a culture of continuous learning and DRIVING to WIN, this leader will head an internationally based team, responsible for building internal capabilities and knowledge, including BU-aligned training curricula and learning assets, which shall translate into competitive differentiation and value to customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting thorough and regular training needs assessment, transferring the output to alignment to Commercial priorities, and in developing strategies for targeted learning initiatives that upskill teams, optimize performance, and have a sustained impact. This individual will be a driven, strong communicator who has a sense of urgency to make an impact and is a strong strategic thinker. This individual should have excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills. In addition, experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with agility to meet the changing needs of the business is strongly desired. Strong resource management skills and prior experience in a collaborative approach to asset creation across a core team of cross-functional stakeholders is a must. This individual will have core capabilities in: Product Launch, Compete to Win in Rare Disease spaces, Learning & Development, Leadership, Curriculum Development, Training Needs Assessment, Blended Learning, and Project Management.. Global Commercial learning programs include, but are not limited to, onboarding & new hire training, advanced/ongoing training, recurrent therapy area/product training, as well as skill-building for customer facing teams and Marketing. In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $ 213,000 to $ 319,600 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A discretionary bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. |
