Summary: We are seeking an accomplished Data and AI Strategist to join our expanding Data Foundations function within the Enterprise Architecture team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, enabling the organization to leverage data, AI, and technologies as critical assets for business success. You will lead the delivery of transformational data assets that enhance business understanding and accelerate growth. With a focus on data as the backbone and AI as the catalyst for transformation, you will collaborate with key stakeholders and data practitioners to implement a Data Foundations blueprint that drives innovation through data-first solutions. This position requires a strong background in data management, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to deliver solutions that result in measurable business impact. This role involves delivering data strategic imperatives and acting as a key liaison between data and AI engagements, ensuring data is used to enhance AI capabilities led by the AI team. Additionally, this position will develop and execute key integrations throughout the organization, establishing a strong data foundation for an overall data and AI transformation. The salary range for this position is: $152,000 to $209,000. BioMarin considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
