Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Radiology-CT Scan Shift: Second Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 4 Summary: This position is accountable for performing quality CT Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. This position is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support. Looking for PRN candidates with flexible availability to help cover weekend evenings and/or overnight shifts, and occasional weekdays. Education and Experience: Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology CT Registry required upon hire. Minimum of 1 year Pediatric CT experience preferred Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy Good interpersonal skills Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress Certification/Licensure: Must be ARRT (CT) registered, or obtain ARRT (CT) certification within 18 months of hire Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist BLS Certified About Us: Cook Children's Medical Center is the cornerstone of Cook Children's, and offers advanced technologies, research and treatments, surgery, rehabilitation and ancillary services all designed to meet children's needs.
