Primary Responsibilities:

Person-Centered Program Leadership
  • Ensure all residential services align with person-centered principles and support people in achieving their individual goals.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individual Support Plans (ISPs), ensuring compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly assess and address the needs of the people supported, collaborating with families, support teams, and community resources as necessary.
  • Promote independence and community integration through innovative programming and individualized supports.

Supervision and Workforce Development
  • Provide supervision and guidance to Program Supervisors, ensuring they effectively manage their teams and fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, develop individualized training plans, and foster a culture of accountability and growth among all team members.
  • Collaborate on recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to ensure a competent and well-trained workforce.
  • Establish and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.

Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as agency policies and procedures.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor program quality, review documentation, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for people supported and team members.
  • Lead efforts to address and resolve deficiencies noted during audits, inspections, or internal reviews.

Health, Safety, and Crisis Management
  • Oversee the health and safety of the people supported, addressing concerns and incidents promptly.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of incidents in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and support during emergencies, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

Fiscal Management
  • Monitor and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Review and approve staff time sheets, individual maintenance allowances, and other program-related expenditures.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, guardians, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
  • Respond to inquiries and concerns from stakeholders promptly and professionally, fostering trust and transparency.
  • Represent the agency in community and stakeholder meetings, promoting the mission and values of the organization.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience:
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience, preferably in residential or IDD services.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, person-centered planning, and staff development.

Skills:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and effectively manage teams.
  • Proficiency in using technology for documentation and program management.

Other Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
